Author Charmaine Gordon adds another book to her series

Charmaine Gordon
Romance Author

We are here at the beach to celebrate with Charmaine Gordon on the newest book in her series, Before the Final Curtain. We asked her some insightful questions that she answered with gusto, and charm. We are also celebrating her big success with a brand new TV movie deal. Click the link below to read all about it.

Deanna:  Do you mentor any other authors who look up to you?

Charmaine:  Hey, my friend. It’s so good to be here with you today. If you consider teaching my grandest granddaughter, age five and a half, to read and know her Granny writes stories and I’m willing to help her when she wants to write, then yes, I do mentor a budding author. Hmm. A super long sentence.

Life in Mexico with guest travel author Lyn Fuchs

Lyn Fuchs
Travel Author
My guest author this week writes about his travels and will make you feel as though you walked next to him as he visits out-of-the-way places and popular locals. He lives in Mexico and I hope he's been spared from the devastation that's taken place in that country with all the rain and floods that have destroyed so many homes. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of those who have been touched by the disaster.
You may find Lyn Fuchs in the Canadian rainforest or the Mexican desert, but you won't find his byline on anything that doesn't captivate, amuse, inform and inspire. His travel writing has appeared in Outdoor Canada, Monday Magazine, Canadian Ethnic Studies, The Dalhousie Review, Matador Travel Network, Eclectica Literary Journal, Rose and Thorn, Sharing Travel Experiences, Gam Magazine, Paperplates Literary Journal, Travel Rag, 3:AM Magazine, Artist-At-Large, Long Trip Home, Crank Literary Journal, The Kinte Space, Travelmag, Hack Writers, Trip 101, PureTravel, Raging Face, Traveling Stories, The Best of Bluefoot Publishing and other publications.

New Release of VIPER by Patricia A. Rasey! Bikers & Vampires!

Patricia Rasey
Suspense/Paranormal

Deanna:  Pat, welcome back! It’s always a pleasure to have you visit with my readers. And they love to know more about their authors. Tell us a bit about yourself.

Pat:  I’ve been writing for twenty-one years. I was first published back in 1999 by a small press. I’ve written eleven novels to date and three novellas. For most of that time, I’ve also been a working mom. My kids are now grown, though.

Deanna:  Do you have a day job?

Pat:  Yes, I do. Like a lot of other authors, my writing doesn’t generate enough income to be a full time job. I do love the company I work for, though. I work for WriteWay (www,writewaypro.com) software—great software for writing your novels on. I use it to write mine in and highly recommend it. And their new company MyAuthorBiz (www.myauthorbiz.com), which will be a great tool for any author. Promotional tools like newsletters, virtual signings, online store, and much more. They hope to launch this fall.

Blog Tour and Prizes! Follow No Turning Back historical!

Love historicals?

Can a picture invoke a story? Those steps could lead down to a boat that will take you to the ship and it's captain...or lead up to a castle at the top of a cliff that overlooks the sea where you could find yourself standing with a handsome duke. The steps might lead to a sandy private beach where one could get away from the prying eyes of aristocrats waiting to expose you for following your dreams of being with the man you really want!
A book can allow you to step into the past and feel what's it's like to live in a previous time period and walk the foggy streets of London, to walk on the deck of a ship at sea or hold on for dear life during a storm that threatens to sweep you off the deck. Ever thought of being aboard when pirates attack in search of a woman? The sword fights that take place, the clanging of huge blades and screams of the wounded will pull you deeper into a book.
Okay, I'm getting carried away but...I so enjoyed writing this story and hope you'll enjoy stepping back in time! My tour schedule is on the left. Click over to the stops and get in on the contests to win gift cards. Be sure to click the banner on the left to get in the Grand Prize Drawing! Good luck everyone and thank you for stopping in! Please use the share buttons at the bottom so others can stop over!

As Zara and Amadeus settle into life as a family of three, in the midst of the tour, life throws them yet another curve. Join them and the entire Tudor clan as they deal with life's little quirks.
And who was that intruder?

Tudor Reunion Tour - Excerpt:
Julia answered the door, making our job oh so much easier. Amadeus held the contract out in front of her. As she reached for it, he drew back his hand. Taking the paper in both hands he ripped it in half in front of her and threw it at her.
"You must think I'm a complete idiot when it comes to the business end of my career, Julia. I'd have to be out of my mind to sign this piece of crap." He turned on his heel towards me, leading me by the elbow towards the beach.
"We can discuss it. I didn't say it was final."
"No," Amadeus replied. "You made out like it was the final deal. As far as I'm concerned there's nothing more to say."
"Damien's who they'll be coming to see Amadeus. Take it or leave it. I don't care."
